Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System Sector is seeking a Manager Industrial Engineering 2 to support our Master Production Scheduling team within our Industrial Engineering Operations Management (IEOM) organization. The leader will join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals on-site in Saint Augustine, FL or Melbourne, FL .
The Manager of Master Production Scheduling/Industrial Engineering 2 will have the responsibility of working side by side with a team of individuals performing Master Production Scheduling/Industrial Engineering and operations management tasks. The Manager will have the responsibility of working side by side with Operations Leadership including Directors/VPs by developing people, process and tools to help achieve all business targets, which will include the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
This leader will be managing 8-12 Master Production Schedulers and Industrial Engineers across multiple sites and programs.
Provide technical and leadership support to the Master Production Scheduling/Industrial Engineering and operations management team.
Drive strategic initiatives and tactical actions that deliver results to improve program cost and schedule performance. Ensure program milestones and performance goals are achieved.
Guide executive level decision-making on how to effectively increase assembly rate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Deliver on short-term, high visibility program requests, while creating a vision and executing a long-term strategy to influence change within and outside the organization.
Coordinate the development and maintenance of manufacturing schedules and plans to ensure adequate labor, facilities, equipment, tooling, and materials are available on time to ensure customer requirements are met.
Analyzes and designs value stream, including capability, capacity, throughput, workflow and logistics. Drive actions towards continuous improvement and affordability targets.
Coach, mentor, and develop team of industrial engineers and master production schedulers by assigning meaningful tasks, providing frequent feedback, and rewarding positive performance. Build trust within the organization and align team towards a clear set of impactful goals.
Administer to employees; including performance reviews, merit increases, promotions, skills inventory and personal resources.
These shifts will be supporting our 9/80 shift structure: Monday through Thursday 6am -330pm, every other Friday 6am-2:30pm.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 5 years' of related engineering experience in Master Production Scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing engineering OR a Master's Degree with 3 years' related engineering experience in Master Production Scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing engineering.
2 years of proven experience leading teams OR projects.
Experience/certifications in lean/process improvement and/or resource planning.
Experience Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
Experience in System Application and Production (SAP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Special Program access within a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM (Scientific, Technology, Engineering and Math) field.
Industrial Engineering experience / Industrial Engineering Degree.
Master Production Scheduling experience or manufacturing planning experience.
2 years of shop floor operations support experience.
Experience with Performance metrics of high-rate assembly line.
Experience providing innovative techniques focused on improving product designs and processes utilizing analytic model.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Salary Range: $111,700 - $167,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
