Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Quality Analyst. This position is for our Roy, Utah location, and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here .

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the development of the organizational framework, processes, policies, procedures, and tools that implement the GBSD Enterprise Quality Management System in compliance with NGAS-SS and NG corporate command media as well as the GBSD Program compliant to AS9100D requirements. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading efforts for third party registration (selection of registrar, coordination for certification/surveillance visits, managing findings, ongoing communication, etc.) as well as leading (planning, implementing, and managing corrective actions) internal QMS audits.

Roles and responsibilities:

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree and 15 years experience OR a Master's Degree with 13 years of experience; OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree

  • Current/Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance

  • Experience in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems.

  • Experience in Metric development for process health and performance monitoring

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Missile Systems/Sub-Systems quality management

  • Experience in process monitoring, data collection, analysis, and metric reporting for a large program/supplier-base

  • Demonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines

  • Excellent liaison between local personnel, suppliers, and customer workforce
