Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Staff Project Manager-IFC - 10816. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.

The selected candidate will join the Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) team within the System Engineering Directorate. The IFC team is responsible for coordinating the development and execution of the IFCs in accordance with the Integrated Master Schedule to support major milestone events. This role requires support of the team leads in close coordination and collaboration with the other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) responsible for the HW/SW delivery schedule for an integrated build up to program integration events. You will help plan and track Sentinel weapon system schedule and define key capabilities and functions for Sentinel Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFCs).

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as an overall integration function for the program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence for program operations and execution.

  • Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools.

  • Coordinate schedules, requirements, and performance visibility to both the Program Office and the Customer while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

  • Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the program and represent program management in appropriate program reviews or boards.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks throughout project life cycle.

  • Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Job Qualifications:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 15 Years with Bachelors; 13 Years with Masters; or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.

  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).

  • Experience in project management.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with reinvestigation within the last 6 years.

  • Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies, practices, and tools.

  • General understanding of Northrop Grumman Corporation Engineering Processes.

  • Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and ability to interface with senior management, peers, and employees.

  • Experience and technical knowledge with Sentinel or MMIII weapon systems.

  • Project management experience on large complex development programs.

  • Previous experience leading a team in successful completion of projects.

Salary Range: $114,600 - $172,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
