Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Strategy and IFC Data Analytics Manager 2 - 10400 for the DevStar, Integrated Functional Capability organization. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What You'll Get to Do:

The position is responsible for ensuring that the DevStar director's vision is translated into operational reality.

The selected candidate will work with leaders of all levels across the program and matrix organization, as well as senior level customers, to facilitate the dissemination of information and expedite the implementation of initiatives. The successful candidate will also manage the execution of deliverables and technical engagement reporting for the director and is a member of the DevStar Software Engineering leadership team.

What You'll Get To Do:

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead the battle rhythm and operations for a team of professionals at numerous locations responsible for integrating all metrics, documentation, and system integration processes, tools and systems across the directorate to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness (specifically for the IFCs and team performance)

• Support the directorate in executive internal and external customer meetings

• Integrate and plan all software and hardware incremental system requirements to include Build Integration, Hardware/Software Compatibility, and integrated IFC processes, tools and systems critical to the directorate

• Leading technical teams of software and systems engineers to drive horizontal integration of execution alignment (including changes and requirements)

• Establish key initiatives in support of the organization's strategic plan

• Oversee programs and execute Status Reviews in coordination with DevStar and Software leadership

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with 6+ years of related experience in (4+ years with a MS degree, 3+ years with a PhD degree)

  • US citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with background investigation in-scope

  • 1+ year team leadership experience in program integration, operations, program execution, proposals, or capture efforts

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • A proven track record of developing and implementing strategies for change

  • Presentation skills to communicate effectively at all levels of management and to individual contributors

  • Experience in Agile methodologies

  • Experience in Lean methodologies

  • Experience in DevOps methodologies

  • Experience in Integrated Functional Capability Process

  • Experience in Architecture and/or Model Based Engineering

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Prior experience operating in a dynamic environment of increasing pace


Salary Range: $116,200 - $174,400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
