Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/ Project Manager 2/3 C&L Assembly and Checkout . This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel - Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You ' ll Get To Do:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Provides input for the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management

• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

• Non-technical requirements management to include; Meeting Facilitation, Action Item Tracking/Management, CDRL Management, Staffing Management

• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, for intervention, and problem solving with project managers and functional managers; including facilitation and preparation of reports providing cost, schedule and/or technical requirements status

• Support of program schedule, cost, risk, issue, and opportunity management assessments

• Coordinate with internal and external customers and integrated product teams

• Ability to follow instructions and give input to problem solving

• Monitors program progress and identifies risks and issues

• Day to day collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure timely awareness of project updates

• Supports the preparation and presentation of technical and programmatic packages

• Design data models to extract data from operational databases and transform data to easily understood views

• Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis, and conduct the analysis with help and oversight, design interactive analytic solutions

• Work with supervision on end-to-end solutions, from data investigation to visual dashboards

• Automate Key reporting processes

• Develop reports and dashboards for stakeholders across the engineering organization

• Interface and Integrate across the Integrated Product Team and the GBSD Program

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You ' ll Bring These Qualifications:

Project Management

• 3 Years experience with Bachelors; or 1 Year with Masters. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

• Program/Project management experience

• Experience working development, production and/or sustainment programs

• Experience with BOE's and modifications

Principal Project Management

• 6 Years experience with Bachelors; or 4 Years with Masters. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

• Program/Project management experience

• Experience working development, production and/or sustainment programs

• Experience with BOE's and modifications

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Bachelors Degree or higher

• US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

• Experience in program management, engineering, software configuration

• Proficiency/Expert with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Cost Account Management/Control Account Management Certification

• Experience/Training in Earned Value Management

• Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning System

• Capital Project management Experience

• Comfortable briefing leadership and providing status both down and in and up and out

• Familiarity with Agile practices and the Atlassian/JIRA suite

• Excellent communication, analysis and problem solving skills and Strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to understand program plans, cost and schedule baselines that meet both program contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations.

Salary Range: $60,600 - $90,800

Salary Range 2: $74,600 - $111,800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
