Northrop Grumman's Sentinel Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Segment has an open opportunity for a Senior Director of Payload Re-Entry Systems (PRS) located in Roy, UT . The PRS Director is the lead for the PRS Element team as a direct report to the AVE Segment Vice President. The PRS includes the deployment module, shroud, countermeasures, and associated test equipment. The PRS Director is responsible for owning and cultivating the relationship with the USAF Re-Entry Systems customer, directly influencing execution and providing key strategic messages to two major suppliers, and must also effectively integrate with the Advanced Programs team on execution of future work/new business.
The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions.
Primary responsibilities include:
Integrated program performance management (cost, schedule, technical, risk & opportunity, quality) to deliver on all contract and AOP/LRSP commitments
Development and adherence to budget and schedule baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)
Cultivating customer relationships, communication of key issues to customers and key stakeholders, requesting/coordination of government furnished equipment/information
Supports supplier management to strengthen partnerships and drive performance
Delivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders
Creation and implementation of strategy for growth
Provide inputs to program demand planning (staffing, infrastructure, clearances, etc.)
Drives performance of leadership team, develops leaders to support career growth

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You Will Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with minimum of 12 years of experience (or 10 years with a Master's) in a related technical field and IPT/Program Management experience
5+ years leading/managing teams on complex projects
5+ years managing programs or subcontracts in excess of $100M, inclusive of cost-type contracts
Ability to travel domestically, up to 25% of the time
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance and applicable SAP accesses
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
MS Engineering or MBA
Experience related to ICBM technologies and products
IPT / PM experience across multiple phases of the program lifecycle
Prior experience managing major subcontracts
Past experience in capture or business development
Proven ability to lead a high performing team with evidence of being able to create an inclusive work environment that attracts retains and inspires diverse engaged teams
Proven ability to successfully work across multiple organizations toward common goals, and create trusted relationships
Proven ability to deliver effective communication verbally, written, and through well-crafted messaging, guidance, etc. across all levels of an organization
Experience with effective change management
Salary Range: $211,500 - $317,300
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
