Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst in support of the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. This position is located in Roy, UT.

What You'll Get To Do

Configuration Management Analyst will plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met as well as review contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

  • Coordinate modification records for management control.

  • Establish change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

  • Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks.

  • Problem solving to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.

  • May refer to established precedents and policies.

  • Discretion/Latitude to perform complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment.

  • Plan, schedule and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives.

  • Impact exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.

  • Liaison to represent organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.

  • Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

  • May develop and deliver presentations.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors; 1 years with a Masters; 7 years of experience may be considered in-lieu of a degree

  • US citizenship with an active Secret clearance with an award/investigation date within the last 6 years

  • Must be able to obtain Special Program Access and obtain a Top Secret Clearance

  • Configuration Management Experience in a DoD Environment Required

  • Must have drawing conformance/integration experience not just document control

  • Experience in CAMEO Architecture, MBSE, or Concept of Operations (CONOPS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance

  • Configuration Management Experience on a Rocket or Missile System

Salary Range: $60,600 - $90,800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
