Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Regulartory Analyst . This role will administer, interpret, and investigate material control across SDS to drive world class execution and performance across the division including implementing program management best practices and training. The role is a member of the SDS Operations Team. This position will be located in Ogden and Roy Utah . Travel required 25% of the time.

Ensure material traceability and accountability is efficient and compliant across SDS sites locally and abroad.
Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks.
Problem Solving
Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.
Performs fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
This position may be filled at a Principal or Sr Principal level
Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst : 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters; an additional 4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
Sr. Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst : 10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters; an additional 4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain Top Secret DoD Security Clearance within 365 days from submission.
Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time)
Must be able to work on-site in Roy, Utah
Experience working for/as a U.S. Government contractor
Experience with responding to audit requests
Basic understanding of the U.S. Government cost accounting regulatory environment
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance
Experience with SAP
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
Self-motivated with a proven ability to quickly learn and apply audit techniques
Strong communication skills to successfully work with clients and across functional organizations at various levels and disciplines
Experience interfacing with DCAA/DCMA
Experience with the preparation and support of annual incurred cost submissions
Evidence of ability to work independently and apply sound judgment to problem solving
Familiarity with various business management functions including indirect rates, accounting, project control, contracts, procurement and/or billing
Possession of excellent oral and written communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate and present findings to different audiences at various levels throughout the organization
Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Government regulations, including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), FAR and DFARS
Salary Range: $92,400 - $138,600
Salary Range 2: $74,600 - $111,800
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
