This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist, we will provide you with training, as needed, to enable you to perform the following tasks:

  • Determines sources of supply, prepares Requests for Proposals and evaluates proposals for compliancy and reasonableness

  • Negotiates terms and conditions, price, work scope and schedule

  • Issues the Purchase Order/Subcontract with appropriate documentation

  • Ensures supplier performance in accordance with subcontract requirements

  • Provides subcontract guidance to technical staff

  • Manages subcontractor performance as a member of the Subcontract Management Team

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields

  • 2 years of procurement or general business experience

  • Ability to convert written procedures to practical applications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point)

  • US citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (clearance not required to start)

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAR/DFAR procurement experience

  • DoD secret clearance

  • SAP Experience
