Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Electronics Engineer in Roy, Utah. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space System team supporting the Air Force's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This will include development, production and deployment of Launch Equipment hardware and systems for each weapon system facility. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers.

Job Duties:

  • Electronics Engineer for the RS Team evaluating electronic designs and the testing and validation of those designs

  • Applies extensive technical expertise, and has a general knowledge of other related disciplines

  • Experience with NX preferred

  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 9 years of ICBM or Aerospace experience; OR 7 years of experience with a Master's in a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline; OR 4 years of experience with a PhD in a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

  • Experience with Schematics and Wiring Diagrams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with NX
