Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here .
Role and Responsibilities:
Design, Develop and Integrate hardware and software for the System Integration Labs. Typical duties to include: test aid design fabrication, test stations/set build-up, verification and validation activities, equipment acceptance test procedure (ATP) development, coding and/or scripting. Create validation procedures, user manuals, drawings. Work with mechanical and test engineering teams to build, certify and operate the SILs.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Bachelors of Science in Electrical, Aerospace, Physics, or other STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 9 years of engineering experience; OR a Master's Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Physics, or other STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 7 years of experience; OR a PhD in Electrical, Aerospace, Physics, or other STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline and 4 years of experience
Knowledge with creating and releasing drawings, interface diagrams, wiring diagrams
Familiarity with hardware and software integration
Active Secret Clearance
Knowledge of Mathlab, Labview or other software for data collection
Knowledge of Test automation concepts and principles
