The GBSD program is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Interface Simulator Developer. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space System team supporting the Air Force's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program, working as part of the Air Vehicle Test team.

What You'll Get To Do:
Northrop Grumman is seeking an engineer with a hardware & software background to support development of a flight computer simulator for use in subsystem development for multiple IPTs that interface with GN&C on the GBSD program.
Responsibilities include architecting, developing and testing the computer interface simulator, and integrating product with flight software to validate functionality. Effort includes working closely between computer hardware and other IPTs to gather requirements for development and capability necessary to support subsystem testing. Also includes developing and maintaining tools that generate interface software, build command inputs, and post-process recorded output for test support.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Principal-Bachelor's in Science degree in a STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math discipline and 5 years of experience, Master's in Science Degree in a STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math discipline and 3 years of experience, or 0 years of experience with PhD.
Senior Principal- Bachelor's in Science degree in a STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math discipline and 9 years of experience, Master's in Science Degree in a STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math discipline and 7 years of experience, or 4 years of experience with PhD.
Experience developing hardware or software simulators for use in a real-time environment and associated software tools
Familiarity with computer architecture and analog and digital I/O concepts
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Special Access clearance
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) development experience
Vehicle simulator development experience
system test equipment development experience
Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) integration experience
Software development in C, C++, or LabView
