Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector is seeking a Support Equipment Chief Engineer for the Product Support organization. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
The selected candidate will lead technical expertise for the GBSD EMD Product Support IPT. Responsible for oversight and direction to all disciplines within the PST organization for technical review and input into Integrated Logistics Support products which will influence the design and maximize system supportability and reduction of O&S costs. Ensure the 12 product support elements are addressed through interface with associated engineering teams and disciplines to understand and resolve technical issues associated with PST analysis and products. Specific areas of experience and knowledge include supportability, reliability and maintainability analysis concepts and methods, design and development of transportation and other related support equipment, PHS&T, technical data package including TOs & IETM development, supply support and spares. Parts management including items classified as NWRM, policy and procedures for counterfeit parts, interim contractor support (ICS) and weapon system transition and deployment. Accountable for the technical development, delivery, and sustainment of PST products to support the operational and maintenance phases of development, test, and operations. Coordinates with internal & external customers to ensure all technical elements are addressed and provided to the customer in compliance specifications and requirements. Reviews status of PTS products and budgets including EVMS indices as required by management and other IPTs.
The successful candidate must:
Be responsible for the technical oversight and completeness of products produced PST team members and functions.
Provide direction to subordinate engineers and interface with upper management and the customer.
Ensure PST organization has the analytical tools and resources required for their jobs
Encourage and foster high morale.
Be the single point of accountability in addressing the technical aspects, development, delivery, and sustainment for all assigned PST products and analyses.
Conduct and participate in personnel reviews and staff meetings.
Serve as primary engineering POC for PST/ILS team within NG and Government counterparts as required.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math field from an accredited institution
At least 10 years of experience in supportability analysis, logistics supportability analysis, and/or management of R&M
Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher
Must have the ability to obtain SAP/SAR access
MS/Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math field from an accredited institution
Current or ability to gain Top Secret DoD Clearance
Familiar with design methods, supportability, reliability, maintainability, PHS&T, parts management and spares analysis. Familiar with GEIA-STD-0007, logistics footprint data, level of repair analysis and support equipment requirements.
Experience with NG software analysis tools
Experience leading teams
Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite and software analysis tools (e.g. DoD, Eagle, Reliasoft and LSA practices)
