Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2. This position will be located in Roy Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs.
Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
Leads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution.
Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.
Performs as the total integrated product team (IPT) lead for key subcontract suppliers and the associated subcontractor procurements
Determines the risk basis and value for the procured products and manages mitigation plans
Coordinates/leads all supplier design, manufacturing, and program reviews
Ensures supplier compliance with all elements of the SOW and subcontract
Ensures recovery plans are put in place for any / all erosion to schedule milestones
Ensures accurate Estimates at Complete(EACs) and material receipt forecasts

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
•Bachelors in technical, manufacturing or business fields
•10 years of experience managing suppliers in an aerospace/defense environment
•Familiar with FAR/DFAR related to supplier management
•Capable of leading Subcontract Management Team (SMT)
•Masters in technical, manufacturing or business field
•Existing DoD clearance
