Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a GN&C System Integration & Test Manager to join our GBSD team of highly qualified and diverse individuals.

This manager will lead a diverse team of Electrical, Mechanical, Simulation, and Software Engineers developing and using the GBSD Guidance and Aerospace Vehicle Element (AVE) Laboratories.

The manager is responsible for leading Guidance System and Power & Distribution System test bed design; development of laboratory real-time, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop simulations and test equipment; and establishing verification and validation strategy approach.

The manager is also responsible for leading system integration and performance test planning and execution in the Guidance and AVE Laboratories and in Enhanced Ground Test (EGT). The manager is also responsible for cost account management, SOW mapping, process compliance, and reporting.

The individual will collaborate with Systems Engineering, GN&C Analysis & Algorithms, Guidance Computer, NIMS, Software, System Test, Command & Launch, and PBACM teams. This position supports the FST System Integration & Test Lead and reports directly to the GN&C IPT Lead.

This position will require 100% travel to El Segundo, CA until lab facility moves to Roy UT in fall of 2021. Once moved, travel will only be 10%

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
