This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This position will support all SP efforts for the GBSD Program within the Sector Support Business CoE organization.

The OPM will support program engineering, production and change management in all aspects of fabrication, assembly, and integration operations.

This position will require previous experience in leading projects and people, understanding of scheduling in an engineering development life cycle environment. Understanding of manufacturing operations and the relationship of engineering drawing release to production, key metrics reporting is critical to the role in a collaborative IPT organization. The qualified candidate will be the OPM focal point for the engineering BTP schedule release process, supporting the Production Operations team. The candidate will be working with multiple disciplines and sites, coordinating program requirements with leads across sectors and functions.

Requires interface and coordination with other Production support departments; as well as regular interface with multiple levels of management. Candidate must have proficient writing and presentation skills as well as the ability to articulate schedule reports/scenarios and conduct presentations to upper management and approval change boards.

Responsibilities include:

• The Operations Project Management (OPM) leads and directs activities between System Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Operations to develop cross functional manufacturing build plan execution schedules.

• This position is responsible for coordinating schedules, manufacturing requirements, and cost visibility to both the Program Office and the Customer and maintaining quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

• The OPM will work to targeted cost and schedule requirements.

• The OPM will facilitate internal meetings to support design, production, and problem resolution.

• The OPM will represent Production Operations at any of the Program Review/Change Boards meetings and create / manage any applicable manufacturing risks and/or opportunities from the program risk register.

• The OPM will support and generate proposal documentation as needed to foster new work.

• This position requires acting as a leader or member of a product team, responsible for product-level requirements analysis, design, engineering and fabrication of the products assigned.

Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

Bachelor's degree with 6 years project management work experience in a multi-disciplined manufacturing environment working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT).

• Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization having excellent presentation skills

• Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Power Point

• Must have a current DOD Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications for Level 4:

Bachelor's degree with 10 years project management work experience in a multi-disciplined manufacturing environment working within an Integrated Product Team (IPT).

• Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization having excellent presentation skills

• Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Power Point

• Must have a current DOD Secret clearance

• Must be open to traveling up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with manufacturing engineering / processing composites materials and associated tooling

• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) Degree

• Master's Degree.

• Lean Manufacturing principles and/or process improvement (Green Belt or Black Belt)

• Experience performing PRR/MRA and bringing new products to volume (high rate) production

• Experience with Risk Management, Red to Green (RTG) plans, and Forecasting EACs, and managing budgets.

• Experience with SAP, Oracle systems as a user Earned value management knowledge
