Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Systems Test Engineer to support the Air Vehicle team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
This position on the Air Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Integration and Test team is to plan integration and test activities. The preferred candidate will have prior experience with integration and test on tactical or strategic missiles, preferably launch vehicles and be knowledgeable in the standards surrounding handling, storage, safety and testing.
Candidate will collaborate with other IPTs to define test objectives and requirements for test activities and be expected to lead efforts and small teams. Knowledge of integration and test principles and practices are a plus.
May be required to travel up to 25% of the time.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This role will be located in Roy, Utah but may start out in Northrop Grumman's Ogden or Promontory facilities temporarily.
Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or another STEM discipline with 14 years of engineering experience; 12 years with a Master's of Science degree in Engineering or another STEM discipline; 9 years with a PhD
6 or more years of experience in a system integration or test environment
Active DoD Secret clearance with completed investigation within the last 6 years
Active Top Secret DoD Clearance
Tactical or Strategic Missile integration and test experience
4 or more years of experience in SIL/Lab or test environments
Demonstrated ability to lead/manage a project including task development, scheduling, tracking, reporting status
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
