Northrop Grumman Project Management 2/3 in Rolling Meadows, Illinois

The Land and Avionics C4ISR (LAC4ISR) division is seeking a Project Manager to support the Program Execution team. The Project Manager will report to the Director, Program Execution and support the LAC4ISR Division in a variety of Project Management functions.

Primary responsibilities for the Project Manager will include but are not limited to:

Leading strategic initiatives designed to help address program execution challenges

Assisting with data collection efforts and performing trend analysis to identify common performance challenges that require further attention

Analyzing performance reports from programs to ensure adherence to the published reporting guidelines

Contributing to various process improvement efforts

Preparation and review of metrics and internal progress reports

Coordinating various program performance reviews at the division level (e.g. Division Priority Watch List reviews)

Assisting with the roll out of new tools and processes

Updating/maintaining the Program Execution SharePoint site

Various other tasks and objectives in support of the Program Execution team

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a Project Manager 2:

Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 1 years of related experience.

Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management and individual contributors.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Analytical thinking and detailed planning ability.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to travel domestically.

U.S citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.

Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of related experience or Master's Degree with 4 years of related experience.

Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management and individual contributors.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Analytical thinking and detailed planning ability.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to travel domestically.

U.S citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated successful experience leading and/or coordinating high-visibility efforts

Experience with data analytics

Experience with change management in a matrix organization

Working knowledge of SharePoint

Working knowledge of Earned Value and project management fundamentals (budgeting, scheduling, and risk management

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
