Northrop Grumman Principal Contract Administrator in Rolling Meadows, Illinois
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Division is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator to join our team of qualified diverse individuals in supporting the Land and Avionics C4ISR Division, Air Warfare Systems. This position is located in Rolling Meadows, IL.
This position is an opportunity to be the Lead Contracts Specialist on a major USAF contract. This position will primarily support the USG customer and USG contracts. Responsibilities include proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Principal Contract Administrator requires 6 years related work experience with Bachelor's degree or 4 Year related work experience with a Masters or JD degree
Senior Principal Contracts Administrator requires 10 years related work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8 years related work experience with Masters or JD degree
Demonstrated success in practicing highly effective verbal and written communications including presentations
Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Familiarity with the FAR/DFARS a plus, but not required.
