Northrop Grumman Mgr Test Inspection 1 in Rolling Meadows, Illinois
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Test Inspector Manager 1 to lead our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Rolling Meadows, IL. Position travels 10% of the time.
As a key leader, partner and essential member of the Land and Avionics C4ISR leadership team, the Test Inspection Manager will lead a high performing inspection team and will be responsible for executing, monitoring and reporting on the health and quality of products and services. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated success leading teams within cost and schedule while achieving a high level of employee engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Functional Manager responsibilities include: work planning/prioritizing, cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of products.
Responsible for all aspects of program performance on a delivery order and technical services-type contracts.
Leverages comprehensive metrics, customer and employee feedback to assess program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission success.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline or related STEM field.
Three (3)+ years of experience in Quality, Quality Engineering, Program Management, Engineering Management or Manufacturing.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship required.
Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System Certification Process
Lean/Six-Sigma Green Belt Certification
Knowledgeable of Earned Value Management
Familiarity with SAP
Active Secret Security Clearance
