Northrop Grumman Mission System Sector is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals. This position will be located in Rolling Meadows, IL.
The successful candidate will be required to support a diverse array of tasks and projects. The individual must be innovative and have the ability to manage and work with a diverse group of individuals and requires very good interpersonal and organization skills. Must be able to work on and complete demanding assignments and deadlines.
The GSC Manager will provide management support for various Programs, reporting to the Supply Chain Program Manager for the Business Unit (BU) as well as the BU Director. The position requires coordination and collaboration cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed. The manager will be required to brief the Program Management Office and Executive Management on the status and issues affecting Program cost, risk, and schedule performance. The Manager will help leadership develop the material strategy and lead the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP). As a manager, the position will have employees reporting directly to them; which entails day-to-day direction and oversight of the employees work product and individual career development needs and interaction/collaboration with Subcontracts Management, various Program Managers and Program Directors.
US Citizenship with an active Secret Security Clearance
Bachelors degree & Minimum of6 years demonstrated success/problem solving skills in supply chain, business management, operations, logistics, engineering or program management
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Demonstratedleadership success and ability to influence direct reports, interact with peers and all levels of management in the organization
Highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent communication skills
*Must have 1+ years experience of team lead and/or management of people
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
Previous experience in managing supply chain on large electronics production programs
Working knowledge of Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR and FAR
Demonstrated working knowledge of earned value management systems, supplier financial reporting/forecasting, contracting/subcontracting, or supplier/program/product scheduling
Demonstrated success in managing complex supplier specifications, drawings, SOW's and supplier issue resolution
