The Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking an Associate Systems Administrator to join our growing team at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. You will join our Product Data Systems Support team where you can put your troubleshooting, system management skill, and content management skills, knowledge, and experience to work in support of various customers at multiple Air Logistics Centers.
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
Bachelor's degree, or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience will be considered.
General knowledge of software troubleshooting and installation.
Self-motivated, self-supervisory, results oriented.
Must be able to work on-site at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Some experience with system testing.
Current Security+ certification.
Demonstrated organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication skills are essential.
Experienced in Helpdesk GUI, TOAP Web, TMIS, JEDMICS, Teamcenter.
General experience with DoD networks.
A current or recent (90 days) Common Access Card (CAC) and the ability to maintain.
An active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance, or an inactive clearance (within the last 2 years).
