Northrop Grumman Cloud Systems Support Administrator or Principal Cloud Systems Support Administrator - TS/SCI w/polygraph required in Reston, Virginia

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Cloud Systems Support Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. You will become part of Northrop Grumman's team supporting Azure cloud programs in a 24x7x365 service operations center. The successful candidate will have direct access and interaction with mission customers while helping with the management of the mission cloud services environment.

Roles and Responsibilities may include:

  • Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.

  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.

  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

  • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

  • Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

This position will be located in Reston, VA OR Redmond, WA.

This requisition may be filled at either a Level 2 or Principal level.

Basic Qualifications for a Cloud Systems Support Administrator are:

  • Bachelor's degree and two years professional experience or a high school diploma and six years professional experience

  • One years' experience monitoring application / systems and trouble-shooting issues

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Cloud Systems Support Administrator are:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years professional experience or a high school diploma and nine years professional experience

  • One years' experience monitoring application / systems and trouble-shooting issues

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in fast paced, challenging environment

  • Experience developing or troubleshooting in a Cloud environment

  • Azure or O365 Experience
