Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a highly qualified, mission oriented Test Conductor 4 to perform on a team of cross-discipline specialist engineers located in Redondo Beach, CA with responsibilities including (but not limited to) the following:
Support Integration, test, and evaluation of a laser system
Ensure tests serve mission objectives
Ensure mechanisms and equipment are in place to execute tests
Oversee operational aspects of engineering tests
Serve as liaison to program, engineering, and customer leadership
Review status of test requirements, manage schedules, and prepare reports
Supervise technicians in support of integration and test activities
Assess anomalies and develop resolutions to documented procedures in collaboration with Test and Quality Engineering
Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and understanding of configuration management processes.
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math major, with9 years of related experience, or7 years with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a PHD, or equivalent experience in Aerospace.
Demonstrated experience in the Integration and Test environment and processes
Education in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches
Knowledge of basic knowledge of system engineering processes
Experience with high energy laser systems and associated optical and sensor components
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
