Aerospace Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist (Level 2) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA .
You will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of specialized goods and services. You will own contractual management for the supplier. You are responsible for life cycle management; from source selection through execution and closeout. You will coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program and end-users. You'll prepare bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors,issue and administer resulting subcontracts. In conjunction with quality organization, you'll evaluate and monitor supplier quality and reliability, as well as supplier ability to support required delivery schedules. You'll identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk.
Bachelor's Degree with 2 years' of experience, Master's with 0 years' experience or a High School Diploma/ equivalent with 6 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Contract Management and/or Business Management.
Experience with Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point
Ability to learn SAP
Experience with International Subcontracts/ Purchasing/ Procurement
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
