Northrop Grumman SSSD has an opening for a Sr. Principal Engineer Mission Assurance to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA .
A Sr. Principle Engineer Mission Assurance, for Subcontracts Mission various subcontracts. The appropriate candidate will be able to perform/manage the following tasks:
Documentation, review and approvals of nonconformance's
Failure Review Board and Material Review Board activities
Manufacturing Readiness Reviews
Test Readiness Reviews
Pre-Ship Readiness Reviews
Perform compliance audits of Subcontractors Quality Systems for deficiency identification and correction, as well as ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Determine Subcontracts Mission Assurance resource needs

Minimum nine (9) years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science,
OR seven (7) years with Masters,
OR four (4) years with PhD
Prior Subcontract and supplier experience.
Experience managing large subcontracts ($15M), medium ($5 -$14M), and small subcontracts(Less than equal to $4M)
Experience executing review and approval of nonconformance's
Experience in Failure Review Board and Material Review Board activities, including root cause and corrective action verification
Experience supporting Design reviews -such as PDR, CDR;
Experience supporting Manufacturing Readiness Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Pre-Ship Readiness Reviews
Ability to perform compliance audits of Subcontractors Quality Systems to assure compliance to requirements
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Dept of Defense Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years OR SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years OR Dept of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years
