The Space Systems PMO is seeking a Senior Principal level Chief Information Office Program Manager (CIO PM) in support of Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) programs within the Responsive Integrated Systems Environment (RISE) business unit in the Redondo Beach, CA area. The CIO PM leads all aspects of implementing innovative information technology (IT) solutions that deliver value and enable SSSD strategic business initiatives. This includes leading all IT strategic planning and implementations, as well as day-to-day IT activity across SSSD programs. In addition, the CIO PM, i n coordination with CIO service lines, is accountable for the delivery of all CIO services, including Classified Solutions, Cyber Security, and IT Service Delivery.
Responsibilities include:
Lead a matrix team and oversee multiple programs and projects in support of the division's shared CIO services, IT, and program security statement of work
Liaison between CIO services and division / program senior management to ensure alignment of CIO services and IT strategy, proposals, and execution of business requirements
Effectively interact with members of CIO services, IT, and sector, division and program leadership teams to optimize strategies in support of stated goals and objectives
Provide direction leadership over CIO services and IT systems activities in support of customer's strategy development, budget, and cost management
Oversee proposal development, staffing plan development, product, and service acquisition and delivery, teaming relationships and communication activities, thereby ensuring timely and cost effective delivery and customer satisfaction
Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree with 7 years of IT experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of IT experience
Must have at experience in either project management, cost, budgets, or scheduling
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience using the following MS Office Suite tools: Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
Must have familiarity with technical solutions, infrastructure implementations, process/project documentation, and/or liaison interfacing for large enterprise organizations
Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify issues and solutions to those issues, and drives issues rapidly to closure.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills.
Candidates must have an Active DOD Top Secret security clearance in order to be considered.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access
Candidate will be working on-site
Ability to travel ~25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Northrop Grumman Sector-specific experience.
Broad background in IT Infrastructure, business applications, and operations
Ability to perform risk & opportunity analysis and prepare detail cost and technical proposals
EVMS Skills and Experience
Salary Range: $129,700 - $194,500
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
