We are seeking a tenacious, focused, and curious Software Engineer who designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.

The qualified applicant will become part of our Aerospace Systems Sector's Advanced Software IPT working in a process-oriented software

development environment. The position calls for a Software Engineer who will be able to analyze requirements allocated to computer

software configuration items (CSCI), design and develop software with minimal supervision and who has experience with the full software

development life cycle. Job emphasis will be development, maintenance and execution of automated software tests for qualification of

embedded software products, with opportunities for model and simulation code development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 3 years of software engineering experience OR Master's Degree in STEM and 0 years of software engineering experience

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience coding in C/C++, Java, or Python

Experience with RTCF or CoreVMS

Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical degree.

Active DOD Top Secret clearance and Special Access security clearances.
