Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA. Duties include, but not limited to:
Performing multiple, moderately complex duties in connection with the Personnel Security (PERSEC) program. Assists higher-level specialists with the implementation and execution of personnel security matters in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, directives, and issuance's.
Using different processes and methods, plans and carries out a variety of moderately complex security support assignments, reviews and reconciles various documents and records, and resolves a variety of problems through coordination with various levels organizational representatives
Process incoming Program Access Requests (PAR) and associated documentation.
Candidate will be expected to perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
Position requires a current Top Secret Secret clearance.
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 6 years of Security or Administrative experience in a SAP environment, or a combination of 6 years of additional education and relevant experience
Possess a final Top Secret security clearance OR an active U.S. Government SCI access with current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Thorough knowledge of the NISPOM and DOD 5205.07 Vol 2
Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy
Strong analytical skill and problem solving skills
Ability to multitask
