Northrop Grumman Aerospace System has an opening for a Proposal Analyst 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.(NGAS) is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to work closely with a business development team for the EMD phase of the Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program. Successful candidates must have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills and the capability to lead or principally contribute to some of the largest and most challenging projects that the Corporation undertakes. Individual or Candidate would effectively, lead, develop, update, review, and maintain cost proposals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications and other pricing/cost requirements

  • Lead and coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments

  • Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts

  • Present and brief cost issues and risks to senior management

  • Coordinates activities and participates in customer fact-finding meetings

  • Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.

  • Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 years of proposal analyst experience; 1 year with Master's degree

  • Familiarity with the concept and application of Improvement Curves, COTs tools (e.g. SEER, PRICE)

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other government regulations

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Power Point& Word

  • Must have active DoD Secret
