Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Property Administrator 2to coordinate property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy. Candidate will maintain property accountability records and collaborates with other departments to determine condition of assets and arranges for disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Candidate will also perform multiple functions including but not limited to: physical inventory, records and reports for certain NGAS programs. Listed below are various functions and tasks for this position:

  • Provide various material and tagged asset reports

  • Preparation of contract transfer documentation

  • Coordinate with other NGAS departments to ensure the timely closeout of property

  • Assist in the preparation and submittal of property Financial Reports

  • Conduct and coordinate Physical Inventories

  • Assist in Contractor Self-Assessment Audits

  • Property record review and inventory updatesin the property database

  • May be called upon to conduct property audits at supplier sites

Additional assignments may be given to assist other team members as necessary


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 yearsof experience and 1 year of Property/Asset Management experience

  • Must have anActive SSBI clearance to start

  • Knowledge of the Government Property Clause FAR 52.245-1

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NPMA Certifications (CPPS, CPPA, CPPM)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to interpret and formulate independent judgment based on federal regulations - FAR 52.245-1
