SSSD has an opening for a Program Cost Manager 3 on our Cost Management team in Redondo Beach, CA. The Program Cost Manager 3 will report into the Business Management Program Manager or the Business Management Director.
This position provides supervision, guidance, and development to a staff of 12+ exempt cost management analysts within the Payload Integrated Product Team (IPT) and will require strong leadership competency interfacing with the Customer, Contracts, Human Resources, Compliance, and Security. This individual is responsible for all project level reporting and will need to have a clear understanding of financial forecasting including Annual Operating Plan (AOP0, Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP), and fee sheets.
Responsibilities require a thorough understanding and working knowledge of Program Management to include:
Financial Critical Design Review (CDR)L deliveries
Earned Value Management (EVMS)
Proposal development and requirements
Organization, Planning and Risk Management
Corrective action process and team leadership
Strong communication and high degree of presentation skill to upper management
Ability to identify issues and problems across multiple contracts and make recommendations to management for resolution
This position requires the incumbent to possess a Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and/or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
Bachelor's Degree and years 10 years of experience in Business Administration, Business Finance or Accounting to include Cost Control OR; a Master's Degree and 8 years of stated experience
Active DoD TS and/or SCI Clearance
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS)
High level of proficiency in MPM, MS Office Tools
Current or previous experience working with restricted customer
Experience with Northrop Grumman Space Systems reporting tools
