Northrop Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division, is hiring a Principal Test Conductor in Redondo Beach, CA with responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
Oversees the set-up and operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management.
Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules and prepares reports.
Selects, supervises and mentors technicians during assembly and test of hardware.
Leads the complete assembly and test of Flight and Non-Flight hardware.
Responsible for ensuring engineering tests serve mission objectives and that the necessary mechanisms are in place to execute testing of hardware.
Provides feedback to management for individual performance of assigned Mechanical Technicians.
This position requires supporting multiple shifts, weekends and ability to travel up to 75% of the year .
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 5 years' of combined experience supporting one or more of the following: integration, test or assembly of mechanical hardware OR High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D) plus 9 years' years of combined experience supporting one or more of the following: integration, test or assembly of mechanical hardware.
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
Candidate must have an active DoD Secret level Security Clearance with a background investigation date within 6 years.
Experience in a Test Conductor environment
A&P license preferred
Experience leading technicians
Experience in Integration & Test
