The Mission Operations (MOPS) team is looking for a new CONOPS lead to spearhead the CONOP development and definition of mission concept of operations for a space vehicle design in a multi-faceted operational scenario through both Launch and Early Orbit phase through Operations and Sustainment.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Lead CONOP development activities in a dynamic environment while coordinating across IPTs to ensure a fully integrated approach to mission operations
Planning and coordinating with both SMEs and external suppliers technical data for system level operations
Coordinating with other IPTs on various ops products (e.g. MARS, MODs, ROPs, .jas scripts, L&C Databases)
This position can be filled at either a Principal Systems Engineer or a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level
Basic Qualifications:
5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD for Principal Systems Engineer; OR 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD for Sr. Principal System Engineer
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Have participated on mission operations, operations training, or on-orbit/early orbit test activities, have experience authoring or working closely with operational procedures & ops products.
Experience or is comfortable with learning working with Jira, Markdown, Bitbucket and Git.
Salary Range: $104,600 - $157,000
Salary Range 2: $129,700 - $194,500
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
