Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager, Subcontract Administration 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

The duties for this rolewillinclude direct supervision of staff, assigning work priorities,and work flow. You will provide direction to team to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. You will workclosely with IPT and GSCteam (GSC PM, BM, PI, etc.)to ensure all aspects of the subcontract--costs, schedule, quality and technical performanceare on trackto support program requirements and commitments.

You will lead a team responsible for development of subcontract specifications andterms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Your team will also require leadership in preparing bid packages, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, writing awards, andmanaging resulting subcontracts.You will be required tocommunicatestatus/issue resolutionto IPT/Programleadership using both effective written and verbal communication.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree, with 5+ years of U.S. Government Subcontracts/Supply Chain experience or a Master's degree with 3+ years' experience

  • Proven leadership and analytical skills with the ability to apply sound judgment to problem solving and strategic decision making in a fast-paced environment;

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Federal Government acquisition regulations and statutes, supply chain best practices, broad proposal experience to include source selection, SOW review, proposal review and evaluation, price/cost analysis, and subcontract file due diligence requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP, NG Command Media,and SAMS

  • Experience with International acquisitions
