Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Responsible for the kitting organization, who assemble fabrication work packages based on a bill of materials across numerous test station builds. Priorities will be given from the project management team, where the Logistics Project Manager will be required to manage and facilitate the work flow among the kitting team to ensure a constant flow of materials is available for the fabrication team
Implement the strategic use of 4 vertical lift machines (VLMs) which will be used to store inventory for the kitting team. Develop processes for implementing the use of this machine within current operations, while providing inventory visibility to the project management & electrical fab team
Responsible for the mechanical and electrical planning team for the fabrication of components used in test station fabrication. Develop and streamline open communication with the mechanical fabrication shop in order to direct priority and increase efficiency. Responsible for creating tools and mechanisms to track fabrication progress, providing visibility to the project management and electrical fabrication team
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with 2+ years in Project Management function
Active DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with full investigation within the last 6 years
Current Program Access
Experience providing direction to determine priorities to achieve goal
Experience developing and presenting material outside the immediate work function
