Northrop Grumman Mgr Programs 2 - AI Workforce Development in Redondo Beach, California
The AI Workforce Development (WFD) lead is responsible for the leading the planning and development of the training, recruitment and retention plans as well as being the primary interface to the AI Academy, Universities and Human Resources for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Campaign.
The candidate will lead a team of cross-discipline engineers, human resources and program staff, and be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks;
Leads the development and execution of AI talent recruitment & retention plans
Develop targeted AI (University Recruitment and Retention) UR&R strategies and outreach plans
Serves as the primary point of contact of the AI Campaign's UR&R strategy and implementation plans
Drives the development and execution of the AI laboratory training and experiments with the AI Campaign Architects
Works with HR to monitor the health of the AI workforce pipeline and identify AI bench for each Sector & develop monthly status reports
Creates AI career growth roadmap and works with Sectors to refine and gain buy-in
Holds periodic coordination meetings with Sector HR to transfer employees into the AI job Codes
Coordinates with Corporate Technical Functional Development (TFD) on metrics on AI Training
Advises corporate on updates to key AI work products such as the competency model, CJCS, competency surveys
Develops and executes schedule and milestones for WFD
Plans and integrates new course material into AI training, including partner tools (MS Azure, etc).
Ensures that talent development best practices are used when creating the Lab Experiences, NVIDIA/IBM and other supplemental training programs
Leads the development of Hackathons, AI Spark Challenges and other novel approaches to engage the enterprise's application of AI to solve mission problems
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 10 years of work experience, or8 years of work experience with a Master's degree
Experience managing IT and/or facility infrastructure projects
Experience performing within dynamic systems Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
General understanding of Systems and Software Requirements elicitation and generation.
General understanding of Architecture, Interface Definition, and Design.
Interact directly with systems engineers, software developers, testers, leaders, selected customers, and other professionals in a group.
Should also be able to collaborate on the creation, development, and presentation of technical briefings.
Be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
Knowledge of system life cycle and system engineering best practices; and applying engineering disciplines to real world activities/systems.
Experience determining whether or not the system performance meets mission requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills; a positive, helpful, and professional demeanor.
Strong verbal/written communication skills, along with the ability to work well within a team environment
Experience in creating and presenting executive level briefings
TS/SCI, or ability to obtain SCI.
