Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager Program Control - 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

This is a Manager 2 position for the Space Aerospace Products (AP) Business Area which represents a challenging opportunity in a critical business management role in the Research, Technology & Space Cost Management Department. Preferred candidate will serve as the Business Manager to partner with the VP and several Directors. Candidate is expected to contribute ideas and expertise from both a strategic and operational standpoint. Role will draw on both leadership and “hands-on” skills. Some significant responsibilities include financial coordination of area contracts and resource (NCTA) activities for monthly and periodic exercises such as AOP/LRSP, IF/monthly, NPS & Fee Sheet updates, Backlog, Manpower forecasting and budget development and tracking. Key activities will include internal cost/schedule/financial forecasting/reporting including coordination of these efforts with project team members and presentation of results to internal management and external customers. Position requires the ability to provide top-level cost & schedule guidance/direction as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present the business information to all levels of management.

This position will require candidate to communicate, facilitate and delegate Financial & Business Management objectives and manage 5 direct reports on the cost management team.

Basic Qualifications:

-Minimum of 6 year experience

- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution

-An active in-scope DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain program access

Preferred Qualifications:

-Financial forecasting

- Small Business Unit experience

- MS Project

- EVM Experience using eCAPs

- Thorough knowledge of government programs

- EVMS experience

- Recent experience and understanding of aerospace financials and project control processes.

- Computer skills required: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables), IFAS (Hyperion); and Power Point as there are many VP level briefings.
