This Sub Project Manager will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Operations Department (MEO) within Material, Manufacturing, Integration, Test & Launch (M2IT&L), and contribute functionally and technically to programs and other department activities. This is a highly dynamic position and outstanding organizational and leadership skills are required to succeed. You will interact with numerous stakeholders including program management, manufacturing engineering, production floor leads, flight hardware design engineers, and logistical support services. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.
Supervisory or management responsibilities for more than one engineering function in the Technical Support job family.
Supporting Functional Homeroom initiatives and projects which include process improvement, Event Response Teams, Corrective, and Preventive Action implementation.
Sub Project Manager responsibilities include: planning and program performance addressing cost (Earned Value Management System), schedule, technical performance, and quality of a spacecraft subsystem.
Responsible for providing objective-oriented technical direction to manufacturing engineers, process planners, and floor leads utilizing management guidelines & general policies.
Produces Shop Load/demand requirements to influence resource requirements in production areas and drive work dispatching to the floor.

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D) required.
Minimum 9 years of combined experience supporting one or more of the following: Program Management, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Integration, Test or Material Requirement Planning.
Experience leading a team and/or projects.
Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret or SCI Clearance.
Active Top Secret or SCI clearance.
Experience with Earned Value Management System
Bachelor's in science degree within a technical field.
Experience providing technical product support to a customer or a business.
Experience establishing goal driven deadlines
Skilled at providing presentation briefings to all levels of the business.
Knowledge of spacecraft subassemblies and/or integration and test.
