Northrop Grumman's Capture Capability team is seeking a candidate to manage execution of a new organization dedicated to institutionalizing the development of capture leadership skills across the Aeronautics and Space Systems sectors. The Manager of Capture Support 3 reports to the Director of Capture Capability.

Specific responsibilities include:

Capture Course logistics and scheduling Contract and budget management (including negotiating with external course providers, contract interface to retiree capture staff, retiree contractor mentors, external flow-through budget to PMO for program master planners) Retiree contractor vetting, supply, assignments coordination, tracking, and effectiveness assessment Providing capture process facilitation and capture teaching Directly supporting captures across the Aeronautics and Space Sectors

The successful candidate will spend time at Northrop Grumman locations in Southern California, the Washington, DC area, and other Northrop Grumman sites. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7 years experience in capture, new business development, program management, or program integration

  • 3 years management experience

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching senior staff

  • Experience managing small service, labor, or consultant contracts

  • Experience with aerospace capture and proposal efforts

  • Current and active DoD Top Secret, SAP and/or SCI Clearances
