Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Line Maintenance Technician 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, testing and repairs on electrical equipment, including uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), power distribution units (PDU), and other emergency power systems.

  • Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, perform basic troubleshooting using standard electrical control equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.

  • Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs.

  • Use a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment

Basic Qualifications

  • Current California Driver's License

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Minimum of 6 years electrical maintenance experience

  • Ability to work 1 st (5 am - 2:30 pm) or 2 nd (2 pm - 10:30 pm) shift and on-call hours

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances

Preferred Qualifications

  • California Journeyman's Card

  • Trade School for electrical and/or electronics

  • The selected candidate having an understanding of Motor Control circuits and devices; and experience with high voltage, working with 480V, 3ph.

  • Current SCI and/or DoD TS Clearance
