Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Analyst - Partial Telework Redondo Beach, CA

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our qualified and diverse Government Relations & Compliance team. This position is located on site in Redondo Beach, CA with partial telework schedule.

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will interface with senior level management and other company personnel to ensure organizational compliance with the DFAR Business Systems requirements, internal procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other government policies and procedures. This will require the ability to work effectively as a team member within both the Government Compliance function and the overall Northrop Grumman organization. The selected candidate will report to the Manager of Regulatory Compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports Incurred cost audits

  • Responds to charging practice and policy inquiries

  • Interprets federal and state and/or international regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other processes, practices and procedures

  • Interprets policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that regulatory reporting requirements are met

  • Investigates and resolves compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.

  • May audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations

  • Contributing to other Government Compliance tasks, projects, and process improvement activities.

  • Demonstrating knowledge of relevant FAR and CAS rules/regulations to assist in assignments.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of compliance, accounting, finance, and/or cost, labor accounting, and/or related experience (with an emphasis on accounting and internal audit) - OR - a Master's degree with 8 years of stated experience

  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and FAR Supplements

  • Experience working with DCAA auditors

  • SAP experience

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel (with Pivot tables and VLOOKUP)

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance or already have one.

  • US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DCAA audit experience

  • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience

  • Internal Cost Scrub experience

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Clearance

  • Understanding of accounting, business systems, reporting systems, budgeting, estimating, internal controls.

  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, writing, and team building skills.

  • Ability to learn all NG policies and procedures required to interpret issues, determine solutions, and evaluate their impact on the NG business environment.

Salary Range: $107,000 - $160,600

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
