Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Consulting Mission Assurance Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

The Mission Assurance Engineer 6 (Deputy Program Mission Assurance Manager) defines, develops, and maintains program requirements and implements processes to ensure program success. This individual has direct responsibility for product and process mission assurance, systems safety, reliability, supplier, and subcontract mission assurance. This senior Engineer assesses program performance and risks, and determines resources needed to support program. Coordinates with functional management and other organizations to develop proper staffing through the contract period of performance. Manages Earned Value and responds to Customer Change Proposals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)

  • 20 years related experience in quality, industrial, manufacturing, or engineering

  • Active and in-scope Secret clearance and SCI required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
