Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Configuration Data Management Controller 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
Coordinate with Transportation for MGSE/EGSE and Flight Hardware moves. Handle shipping and receiving of small items to and from offsite work locations. Ensure all property is properly updated using NG Property system for all moves. Status, Receive, inventory and track all Flight hardware required for the Manufacture & Test Operations floor. Maintain consumable inventory. Review engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to determine material requirements, ensure compliance with engineering specifications, and to ensure engineering orders reflect latest requirements. Analyze proposed changes in product design to determine effect on documents such as drawings, test specifications, manuals, and ensures all documents have required approvals. Notifies appropriate departments of any new or updated requirements. Maintains audit trails. Support audits. Second shift and overtime work required. Possible offsite travel
High School Diploma General Education Diploma (G.E.D) plus 2 years of Inventory Control experience
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Outlook)
Drawing interpretation experience
Experience with ASSETSMART and TEAMMS databases
Active DOD Secret Clearance
