The Payload and Ground Systems division of Northrop Grumman's Space Systems sector is looking for you to join our team as an Administrative Assistant 4. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Scheduling, planning, logistics and execution of meetings
Interface with project personnel at all levels, work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, and work in other buildings on campus in support of project team meetings
Responsible for managing multiple individual calendars on both open and closed networks, as well as conference room calendars
Coordinate travel and prepare expense reports for program personnel
Utilize various PC software packages such as PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets, Word and SharePoint to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents as required
Arrange and coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to assist with presentations.
May initiate, obtain and proofread information for reports and special assignments.
Maintain SharePoint sites for Program team as needed
Provide back-up administrative support to other admins, as needed
May act as coordinator of projects, following up on pending details, coordinating activities and ensuring deadlines are met
May coordinate Ground communications
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Must be pro-active, self-motivated, well organized and detailed oriented.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while exercising good judgment, demonstrating discretion relative to proprietary information, flexibility, agility, and able to prioritize effectively multiple tasks with competing deadlines, and providing excellent follow-through.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills in order to maintain contact and partner with all levels of management, and internal stakeholders to include other administrative assistants, Engineering community, Human Resources, Finance, Training, Facilities, and Senior level management at various levels.
High School diploma with an additional 6 years of education and/or work experience
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
- Active DoD Secret clearance
