Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Division is seeking an Administrative Assistant 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Redondo Beach, CA.
Essential functions consist of:
Communicating with executive, administrative, customer and management personnel to gather or convey relevant information
Coordinating internal and external briefings/presentations, management meetings and customer interface and customer visits
Responsible for maintaining Director's schedule and coordinating critical customer and management meetings
Coordinating calendars, extensive, frequently changing travel arrangements, expense reports and all forms of correspondence
Providing support to Director's team, including scheduling internal and external meetings, lunch for meetings
Responsible for new team-member onboarding administration (adding team members to shared database accesses and coordinating attendance in program onboarding/training session)
Event planning of team-building / moral events for a team of 400+ people
Office seating move request coordination with facilities
Executing daily file transfers to the program computer system
The successful candidate will be a vital member of the Program team and perform in an administrative leadership role, which by nature of the position involves high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive program, new business, personnel and technical information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment. A successful candidate wil:

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum High School diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in an administrative assistant or related role supporting managers, directors or executive leadership
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) to execute administrative support and communication responsibilities
Ability to professionally and effectively communicate, both written and orally, across all levels of the organization
Experience working collaboratively with various stakeholders to execute projects/tasks and achieve successful results both independently and within a team
Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S. Government security clearances:
Dept of Defense Top Secret/SSBI
OR SCI access
OR Dept of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Experience working with confidential information/enviornment
Experience utilizing business and travel expense system (Concur, Edge, or similar) with complex, frequently changing travel
