Northrop Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division, has an opening for an Administrative Assistant 2/ 3 to join our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be in Redondo Beach, California.

Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisors' assignment. May take and transcribe dictation.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Level 2

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years of additional education and/or experience

• Current Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel

• Proficiency in editing written material for correct spelling and grammar

• Experienced with organizing/maintaining/deconflicting schedules, calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements

• Prior experience working as an Administrative Assistant or performing equivalent responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree

Experience in Concur/ITRIP, I-Buy, NG

Level 3

Salary Range: $43,600 - $72,600

Salary Range 2: $51,800 - $86,400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
