Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) has an opening for a Adminstrative Asstant to VP to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will report directly to the ARIS/AMP Vice President and Program Manager (AMP deputy) and be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

The successful candidate is a vital member of the program office team and performs in an administrative leadership role, which by nature of the position involves high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive program, customer, new business, personnel and technical information.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files

  • Interviews callers and makes proper referrals

  • Arranges meetings and conferences

  • Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage

  • Develops and dissimenates needed communications to relavant stakeholders

  • Answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures

  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisors assignment

  • May take and transcribe dictation

  • Fosters an inclusive and safe work environment from the scope of the position

This role may at times include travel as well as required overtime.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of six (6) years' experience performing administrative tasks and responsibilities

  • In depth experience and skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)

  • Experience and/or ability to perform required tasks in Concur travel, expense reporting, and/or other related software tools

  • Experience and/or ability to accurately manage several classified and unclassified executive calendars

  • Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality

  • Experience and/or ability creating dynamic memos, presentations, and charts for meetings as needed.

  • Active (in-scope) DoD SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting multiple executives

  • Presentation experience

  • Communications background
