Northrop Grumman Contract Administrator in Plymouth, Minnesota

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.

Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications

Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports

Advises management of contractual rights and obligations

Compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information

Acts as primary interface with customer for contractual issues; Monitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understood.

Mitigates risk through review and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions to ensure protection of company interests; assist proposal team with balancing risks and opportunities for new programs.

Prepares and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.

Enters contract data into Deltek CostPoint system.

Basic Qualifications:

BS in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent is required.

Education / Experience: 3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters.

Must have excellent communication skills, be proficient in MS Office and be very detail oriented.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects

Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Ability to travel up to 25% of time including possible international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in Business or Juris Doctor preferred

Some experience with international contracts

Familiarity with FAR, DFARS and defense contracting is preferred as well as experience with US government and international customers.
