Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector has an immediate need for a Senior Principal Imagery Analyst to work in Patuxent River, Maryland. Seeking dependable SO/IA (sensor operator/ imagery analyst) professional knowledgeable in image processing and in the integration/operation of
sensor systems and peripheral equipment on the BAMS-D UAV platform.
Monitoring the sensor payload system
Regularly checking setup parameters of sensor equipment
Responding to ad-hoc and dynamic re-tasking as required by mission objectives based on customer requirements
Coordinating directly with pilot during tactical imaging portions of flight
Providing assistance to pilot in performing communications duties and emergency procedures
Coordinating with external users as required; maintains data logs collected during mission, and disseminates information
- Interacting with various contractors, government civilians, and military members during technical training and product
- Working an operations support multiple shift schedule in support of the U.S. Navy
- High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 plus years of sensor operation, imagery, or related experience OR
Bachelor's with a minimum of 6 plus years of sensor operation, imagery, or related experience OR Master's degree
with a minimum of 4 plus years of sensor operation, imagery, or related experience
- Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or an inactive DoD Secret clearance (last active
within the past 2 years)
Ability to work on-site in Patuxent River, Maryland
Ability to support a multiple shift schedule (4 on, 4 off; rotating schedule for nights and days)
Ability to acquire Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Class III Flight Physical once aboard
Military Aircrew with UAV Instructor Sensor Operator or Instructor Mission Payload Operator experience.
Previous Global Hawk experience.
Strong avionics and computer experience.
